Suri Alpacas are a long-haired variety, and Baby refers to the first shearing. We offer 6 different grades of alpaca: Imperial Alpaca (18 micron); Super Baby Alpaca (19.5 micron); Baby Alpaca (21.5\/22.5 micron); Superfine Alpaca (25.5\/26.5 micron); Baby Suri Alpaca (22.5 micron) and Suri Alpaca (26.5\/27.5 micron). The lower the micron count, the softer the fibre.
