The pairing of Bluefaced Leicester with silk is second to none. Bluefaced has a shine of its own and a long staple length making it a natural partner to silk. This yarn is a little thicker than our standard lace yarns, which makes it great for lace without the trickiness of knitting something really thin (great for novice lace knitters or crocheters). This yarn sucks up the dye, and speckles really well with vibrant colours. It’s perfect for garments and shawls. It has a lovely bouncy texture and keeps its shape well especially when knitted in lace stitches.
