New Lace Sequin Yarns
We have something super special for you. Our two new sequinned yarns are two fluffy bases with sequins stranded onto a carrier with wool, silk and just a touch of iridescent shimmer in it. The sequins reflect the colours of the yarn around them, so they always match your dyeing.
We wanted a subtle and sophisticated look to these yarns appealing to a wide audience who want to add just a touch of something magical to their yarns without it being overpowering.
These sequins are specially made to withstand the dyeing process, so can withstand heat and acid conditions, unlike most other sequin products. This makes these yarns special and unique .
We love these knitted on their own, or used as a carrier with another yarn.
The Alpaca 49061 provides a warm and cosy fabric, where as the mohair 49062 creates a more open fabric with a gently haze.

Gauge: 3.75mm - 24sts & 32 rows to 10cm
This compliments our sure silk cloud range, with the addition of the sequins. This sucks up the dye and produces lovely watercolour effects. Speckles will spread on this yarn. The sequins reflect the colour underneath providing gently twinkles in the fabric when knitted. The fabric is soft, floaty and warm.

An exquisitely soft yarn with little twinkles of sparkle from the sequins.
This yarn is just a twinkly luxury. The yarn takes the dye well and lovely water colour blends work well on this yarn. Dye as you would a standard silk mohair yarn. When knitted blocks beautifully and creates a floaty sparkly fabric which has an exquisite softness. This is very special and we love it.
