This is the ultimate stranding yarn, adding a gentle halo to any fabric — a perfect alternative to mohair. The yarn is super soft and takes the dye really nicely — the colours spread gently, giving a watercolour effect. The alpaca content means that colours appear soft and slightly muted, but strong colours can be achieved with effort. You can use a wide range of needle sizes for this yarn (we went from 3mm to 5mm) creating an open, drapey fabric. Our standard skeins for this yarn are 50g. Please see our notes on dyeing silk.
