Yak
All of our undyed yarns that contain yak fibre. Our Yak comes from Tibet and Mongolia. Yak is a short, fine fibre, similar to cashmere. When added to yarns in its natural state it adds a luxurious softness and a natural warm tone which is wonderful to add character to your dyeing. We don’t use bleached yak fibre as this causes damage to the fibres and therefore all of our yarns that contain yak have a natural brown colour. Our yak fibre has an average micron count of 20.5.
