49195 Llama 4ply

This fibre behaves in a similar way to alpaca and is dreamy-soft with a gentle halo. The yarn takes the dye well, and the dye spreads in the same way that it does on alpaca. The colours are soft and muted on this base. The resulting knitted fabric is delightful – it has a light and airy quality, but we find this keeps its shape slightly better than alpaca does. Llama 4ply would make fantastic shawls and snuggly sweaters.
