This yarn was traditionally made for making Western Cinches for horses. It is made from the coarser parts of mohair which would otherwise be considered waste. The yarn is great for macramé as it’s thick and strong and really easy to dye. Due to the thickness of this yarn, it is presented in 495g skeins. We have not given a knitted gauge for this yarn as it’s quite heavy and isn’t really suited to a knitted fabric. This has a chain construction.
