With the longest yardage in our Merino 4ply yarns, Merino 500 is a light base which goes a long way, thus making it an economical choice. The yarn sucks up the dye and colours appear bright and clear. Using a 2.5mm needle gives the fabric good bounce, although you could go up to 2.75mm for a little more drape. This is a wonderful yarn for lightweight accessories and cardigans, and it’s a great choice for those of us that appreciate layers we can take on and off!
