This is a velvety-soft yarn with a delicate halo. The base colour comes from the natural grey llama fibre. It takes the dye really nicely and provides a sophisticated undertone when dyed. Speckles spread and may not show up quite so well on this yarn. This has similar properties to alpaca, but generally has a bit more texture This would make wonderful shawls and sweaters.
