This is a high-twist yarn which has a pleasing, crimpy texture. The fibre takes the dye well, colours spread softly and speckles can be achieved, but they won’t be super crisp. The fabric has a bounce to it and keeps its shape well. This is a fabulous, soft yarn and would work well for accessories and sweaters. Given the construction of this yarn, it could be used for socks, but it would need to be knitted on a tight gauge, with 2.25mm needles.
