59115 Paper Fluff 4ply

Something different! This yarn has one strand of a brushed, fluffy mixture of alpaca, wool and a Tencel binder, and the other is a high-strength, Abaca paper. We suggest acid dyes as the paper takes them very lightly so contrasts well with the fluffy strand. Natural dyes, using a tannin and then alum mordant, would also work well. The yarn knits to a light fabric with a gentle halo. This would be beautiful for summer garments and if woven would create something very special.
