49193 Silky Boucle

This is a versatile boucle yarn. It is beautifully soft and shiny, and makes very different fabrics, depending on how you use it. The yarn takes the dye well, colours are strong and bright, and it speckles too. Please see our notes on dyeing silk. Using a small needle makes a compact fabric. It is also great fun pairing this base with other yarns, and this should be exploited. We have swatched with 49053 Suri Silk Cloud for a more open fabric with a halo, but it would also be great with 49056 Cloud 800.
