This is a fabulous singles lace yarn with a splash of silk. The yarn sucks up dye and the colours appear bright and clear; speckles show up well on this yarn. The resulting fabric blocks beautifully and is light and open. The stitch definition for lace patterning is really prominent. We don’t think this would be quite strong enough for a warp but let us know if you try it. Please see our notes on dyeing silk.
