This super-silky yarn is divine. It has a clean, white base colour, due to the silk content. It sucks up the dye and speckles well. The resulting knitted fabric is soft and shiny with a gorgeous drape. This is suitable for luxury shawls, accessories and sweaters. Please see our notes on dyeing silk. We would not recommend using this base to make socks.
