49004 Suri Silk Lace 1200

This is a beautifully delicate laceweight yarn, suitable for making very lightweight garments, wedding ring shawls and scarves. The combination of non-superwash Merino and alpaca means the yarn absorbs the colour, giving a slightly muted, watercolour effect. Speckles spread gently on this yarn. Once knitted the yarn has a delicate halo and a light, drapey texture. It blocks well and holds its shape. This would work well for weaving very fine fabric.
