49191 SW Falkland 4ply HT

This is a high-twist yarn, similar to our Sheila’s Sock bases, but this has a little more yardage. Falkland Merino is known for its slightly whiter quality compared to our standard Merino, but it is subtle. It sucks up the dye, speckles really well and also works nicely for glazing techniques. Colours appear bright and clear on this yarn. The resulting knitted fabric has a bouncy texture and is great for accessories and garments. This would be suitable for socks on a tight gauge (2.25mm needles).
