Addi Unicorn Circular Knitting Needles

Type 115-7-60-2

Unicorn needle tips have a gentle spiral structure just like a unicorn horn! The texture of the unicorn tips massages the hands while knitting, and ensures that stitches move along your needles at just the right pace. The shiny, shimmering surface lends the tips a measure of elegance. These fixed circular needles have tips with the Addi basic point, which has a rounded shape to help you to avoid splitting your stitches.

Addi circular knitting needles are the result of many decades of experience. The finest transitions between needle tip and cable as well as the smoothest, white-bronzed needle tips allow the stitches to glide without resistance. The flexible plastic cords with printed length and needle size are ‘knotted’ to the needle tips in a special Addi process, creating a permanent, seamless connection.

Made in Germany, of course.

  • A perfect knitting needle for beginners and professionals – a metal knitting needle is the perfect tool for every yarn. The light structure and basic tips make knitting easier for beginners and ensure relaxed knitting for professionals.
  • The spiral structure helps stitches to glide along the tips and gives a gentle massage to the hands while knitting.
  • Also suitable for low twist and multi-plied yarns - the rounded tip helps to avoid splitting stitches.

Comparison between Unicorn and Novel tips

  • While the square Novel needles have perfect ergonomics and are a good choice for aching hands, the Unicorn needles have a lighter, spiral structure.
  • Compared to the Novel needle tips, the massage effect of Unicorns is somewhat softer.
  • Both tips are great for looser knitters, as the textures slow stitches down and they are less likely to slip off the tips.
  • The Unicorn texture is ideal for slightly tighter knitters, as the stitches slide along the tips more easily due to the spiral structure.
