59102 Alpaca Air

This light, fluffy yarn makes an incredibly soft and airy fabric. The yarn consists of a core with a spiral of fibre wrapped around it. Unlike other fluff yarns, where the fibre ends are free, here the ends are contained within the wrap, making it extra soft. This takes the dye well, strong colours can be achieved, but they are more muted, giving a sophisticated look. Speckles spread softly. This would make gorgeous next-to-skin accessories, and the snuggliest of sweaters. Our standard skeins for this yarn are 50g.
