49304 Alpaca Silk Aran

This yarn is a gorgeous, silky-smooth aran. We used 4mm needles for the swatch, as the yarn is very smooth, and this made a nicely drapey fabric. The undyed yarn takes the dye well and, as expected with alpaca, the colours have a soft, muted tone. Speckles gently spread. This knits really evenly and will be glorious for warm sweaters, cowls, scarves and hats that are softer in shape. This would work as a warp or weft, however, it might fluff a bit as a warp, so experimentation is needed.
