49044 BFL Lace

Bluefaced Leicester wool is an incredible fibre with a long staple length and high lustre. This makes a beautiful, woolly lace yarn. It sucks up dye, the colours appear bright and clear, and speckles work well on this base. The yarn is quite highly twisted and creates a plump fabric. Lace stitches almost stand out, and create a 3D effect. Stocking stitch is snuggly, and this would make delightful lightweight garments and scarves with some warmth.
