49106 Bright Sock 4ply

The high Tencel content of this yarn makes a bright, white base colour with a pleasing sheen. We recommend using acid dyes for this blend – the wool takes the dye well enough to compensate for the Tencel which will not absorb it. Bright colours can be achieved, and although speckles spread, they pop against the base. We would not recommend using this base to make socks as it does not have enough bounce to hold its shape. For shawls and garments however, it has beautiful drape.
