49316 Donegal Aran

Our Donegal Aran has a slightly soft, silver colour, due to the blending of the neps in this yarn. The black and brown neps resist the dye and maintain their colour, so will not bleed into the yarn. The yarn takes the dye really well and you can achieve speckles on this yarn, although they may not appear so prominently due to the Donegal nep. This is suitable for socks on a tighter gauge. We produced two swatches: the 4mm creates a better structured fabric, and the 5mm has a nice drape.
