This yarn is magnificent. The combination of the softest Merino wool, a robust twist, and the linen gives a gorgeous, strong but yet soft DK yarn. It has a velvety texture and the linen is not prominent, but does give the yarn a slightly caramel hue. The linen will not take the acid dye, but provides a rustic look. Speckles spread. This would make a superb sweater yarn and creates lovely, crisp cables. You could use this for socks, but be sure to use a small needle to prevent wearing.
