59109 Egyptian Yak 4ply

This is a lovely, more softly twisted alternative to our other yak bases. The linen is a very subtle addition, but gives a gentle, rustic edge to this yarn. This has a softer twist so it’s more suitable to garments and accessories. We would not consider it suitable for socks. The yarn takes the dye really well, and although subtle speckles can be achieved, they don’t really stand out. We used a 2.75mm needle for the swatch, but you could go up to a 3.25mm to give a fabric with more drape.
