49253 Egyptian Yak DK

The addition of yak gives this luxury DK yarn a little texture. The natural grey colour of the yarn gives a beautiful, rich undertone to the dyeing. It is light enough to see speckles, although these are not so prominent, which appear as a sophisticated technique on this yarn. The linen does not take acid dyes, but this blends in with the natural colour so doesn’t contrast once dyed. This knits into a fabulous, soft fabric with a little rustic texture to it. This would make wonderful shawls and sweaters.
