This is a high-twist sock yarn with a little addition of luxury. The yarn is fabulously soft with a delicate shine to it. This base sucks up the dye, colours remain bright and strong, and it speckles really well. It also works well for glazing techniques. This can be used for socks, and it works just as well as a yarn for garments and accessories. The resulting knitted fabric has a sophisticated, velvety feel, with a little more stitch texture than the traditional construction of its sister yarn type 49120.
