A super-soft, velvety yarn, with a classic twist, MCN 4ply is a little thinner than other bases. The yarn sucks up the dye, and speckles look great on this base. The fabric, once knitted, has a lovely, smooth stitch definition and soft texture. It is suitable for garments and accessories, and also makes a luxury sock yarn on a tight gauge. We recommend using 2.25mm needles for this purpose. We also have a high-twist version of this yarn, type 49147 MCN 4ply HT.
