49321 Non-Superwash Aran

This aran undyed yarn is just superb. It’s a tightly twisted and bouncy yarn. This takes the dye really nicely and, because of the twist, works really well for glazing effects. The yarn and resulting fabric has a velvety feel and the swatch keeps its shape. This would make a superb sweater yarn – rib and cables pop on the fabric. We used a 4mm needle and when blocked this came out with 18 sts per 10cm - a classic aran gauge. This yarn looks highly appealing in the skein once dyed.
