49034 Pure Silk Lace

This yarn is as you would wish a pure silk to be – it is smooth, shiny and creates the most beautiful fabric. It sucks up dye and the colours appear bright and clear. Speckles show up really well on this yarn. You can use acid, Procion MX, fibre-reactive or natural dyes with this yarn, although we prefer acid dyes. Please see our notes on dyeing silk. This yarn keeps its shine well after dyeing. The resulting fabric blocks well, is light and open, and has excellent stitch definition in lace patterning.
