This yarn is gorgeous. It is smooth, soft and shiny, with a whiter base colour than the wool yarns, due to the high silk content. Please see our notes on dyeing silk. Colours appear super-bright and clear. The yarn sucks up the dye and speckles brilliantly. Most dye techniques work well on this yarn, and the depth of colours that can be achieved is wonderful. The resulting fabric is shiny and soft, with a lovely stitch definition and drape. This would be marvellous for accessories and sweaters.
