49159 Singles BFL Sock

This singles yarn is a little more robust and slightly thinner than type 49157. The toothy texture of the Bluefaced Leicester reduces the risk of pilling of the single-ply construction. It creates a light, airy fabric when knitted. The yarn takes the dye really well, and speckles are fabulous. Sometimes the yarn goes curly when it is wet and this can be remedied by drying under tension. We would not recommend using this base to make socks.
