This is a wonderful yarn – like a vegan silk. It dyes amazingly, giving rich, intense, almost metallic-looking colours. For the best colour uptake, see notes on dyeing cellulose fibres. You will need to use natural dyes, Procion MX or fibre-reactive dyes on this yarn. The yarn can lose softness once dyed, but a quick slap of the skeins on the back of a chair when the yarn is damp will help. The fabric is light and airy, and blocks out with a nice drape.
