A sophisticated sock yarn, this luxury, rich base provides a wonderful background on which to dye, resulting in deep, complex colours. We added nylon so that it was suitable for socks and it’s a winner! The fabric is soft and velvety and has nice elastic qualities when knitted on a small needle. We unexpectedly got some nice bright speckles on this base during testing. The fabric has lovely drape and would work well for all sorts of accessories and sweaters, including of course socks!
